There will be no shortage of ideal conditions for your favorite activities as well as areas accessible to your four-legged friends or aimed at people with disabilities.

In Castiglione della Pescaia, dogs and pets are allowed access to dedicated free beaches and their use is permitted daily from 8.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m for the entire period of the bathing season. At the Bau Beach in Castiglione della Pescaia dogs can move, run and play freely, without a leash or muzzle, and even bathe, under the supervision and responsibility of their companions, avoiding causing damage to things or people. Access is permitted to dogs regularly vaccinated for the main infections, diseases and equipped with tattoos/microchips.

green beach

The beach called Green Beach, in the stretch of sand south of the Pinetina Sud bathing establishment, is set up for the duration of the bathing season with structures suitable for bathing for disabled people. Both access and use are free on the Green Beach and its use is permitted daily from 9 a.m to 7 p.m for the entire season exclusively by disabled people and their companions. Access by other subjects with the exception of those listed above is therefore not permitted in the entire area of the Green Beach of Castiglione della Pescaia, nor the installation of shaded points in the spaces not occupied by the platforms for bathing of the disabled people.
